TV and Movie Recap

I am sooooo tired!  I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.  So I thought I would share some of my thoughts and thoughts on other things I have been watching lately (There may be some spoilers so continue with care).
I liked the new HP movie.  It was much darker, but the funnier parts made it not too depressing.  Of course it was sad with the death of a beloved character.  Who didn't sigh just a little at Harry's kiss...it was sweet.  Ron was ridiculous as usual.  I even felt a little bad for Malfoy.  I think most of the theater jumped at a startling scene in the caves:)  Overall, I enjoyed it, but can't wait for the next installment.
Warehouse 13: New episode last night.  Not too bad.  I think I will continue watching.
Star Trek the Original Series: I am catching up on the few stray episodes that I haven't seen.  I saw a completely ridiculous one today where they were on a planet that was about the same as Earth's Chicago Mob scene.  Just plain silly, but I did like the suits.
I am eagerly waiting the second season of The Next Generation!
School of Life: A movie I found when flipping through channels, starring Ryan Reynolds.  Funny but sad...very good movie.
I can't wait to go home and go to bed...when I got home from the movie last night, I couldn't fall asleep and stayed up watching tv.  Now I am paying for it.  GhostHunters will have to wait until tomorrow to be watched.

Comments

Three hours before it previewed here in Portland the fans began to gather
It looked like Halloween. Some of the outfits were amazing.
The lines were blocks long......
They finally moved the party goers into the theater about an hour before, where I am certain it continued.
I have not heard yet what they thought of it, probably tonight on the news.
There were lines when I got to the theater about 1 1/2 hours before the movie. They let us in the theater about an hour before the showing. There were a few people dressed up, but not too many. It was fun watching it with fans of the series:)
I never had any interest in the series, but know how incredibly popular it has been.
I saw something last night on tv about the continuing clamor about Twilight....
It just kills me that here in Oregon they are doing Twilight Tours....
:P
I started reading the Harry Potter books in college when a freind recommended them...and loved them. I prefer the books to the movies, but I enjoy the movies. I tried reading the Twilight series, but found it poorly written and couldn't continue reading them. I usually enjoy vampire stories, but couldn't get into this one.
